I would say he had at least dipped his toes into anime with the Nier Automata anime.

Yoko Taro alone is enough for me to get giddy about this. Add Okabe to the mix, and you get magic.

Boy oh boy. It’s been a while since I was hyped for something this much.

Hello, my name is Nine and I welcome you to another round of “Spot The Tourist That Only Reads The Title Before Shitting On A Show!”. Today’s grand price winner will go home with up to 100.000 virtue points and a cruise vacation to somewhere else than battle shounen.

My first thought was that it was her sister that she lost. As in their “sisterhood”, not as in her “death”. But earlier when they had their falling out that made her hate her. Maybe they were close once. I’m not sure if it’s a realistic depiction of a sibling bond, but it’s something that would fit into the META of the show. It’s what I would do if I were a writer when trying to spin the story around a central plot point.

Whenever I start to type something about the show in here, I feel like it isn’t adequate enough for the subject matter and then just decide to not comment at all. Especially after the last couple episodes got heavier with emotion.

I hate it, but I hope they can turn me around.
